Our Personal Experience with John Tarbell from July 2024 to Current (March, 2025) has resulted in:

Some Beach Assumed Possession
After FIVE Months John filed the documentation to remove us from the property deed
Insurance Fraud
John immediately took over as 'general contractor' to work on the repairs of our home. Unfortunately he has also used OUR insurance funds fraudulently to conduct upgrades and remodels on the house that were out of the scope of the insurance claim. He REFUSES to provide us with invoices or a financial breakdown of the work completed nor the funds that HE has taken complete control of.
John has also been refusing to send us the funds from the insurance that were coverage for our PERSONAL PROPERTY (clothing, furniture, etc.) that had nothing to do with the structure damage
Mortgages
In a business situation such as this, it was John Tarbell's responsibility to assume the mortgages slated for foreclosure/auction and to pay them in full. As of today, March 19, not only has he NOT paid the mortgages in full but he has not made ONE regular monthly payment. This means that WE continue to have ongoing damage to our credit
Failure to Pay Contractors
We have been contacted by the contractors that John Tarbell and Some Beach LLC hired to complete construction repairs and have been threatened that as he has not paid them, they will include our family on the legal process to be paid.
Illegal Excavation Services by his Minor Son
During one of the repairs on our property, John was allowing his child to operate the backhoe. This resulted in property damages on fencing and roadway and he CUT the main electrical lines from the power supply poles to the house system. Obviously not a safe nor legal situation.
NEW Foreclosure Auction Dates - 3 Since the Beginning of Working with John
Since John has not made any payments on the mortgages on the property, we are now on our THIRD round of foreclosure auction dates. John has had control of the property now for 9 months and we are STILL facing the legal and financial issues we thought we left behind when we met him.
